Go No Further

from $55.00

Located on the interior of island and practically invisible unless you are looking for it, the junkyard on Ossabaw Island, Georgia is more like a treasure trove, a trip back in time.

From dilapidated cars to destroyed boats, appliances, bikes and lawn mowers, it is a time capsule of past 20th century life on the island.

Ossabaw Island is a Heritage Preserve owned by the State of Georgia. At approximately 26,000 acres, Ossabaw Island is Georgia’s third largest barrier island.

The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) manages the island and the Ossabaw Island Foundation maintains several island buildings and coordinates on-island programming.
